Welcoming High-Tech to Meridian

Statewide leaders Anthony Wilson of Mississippi Power, Gov. Tate Reeves and Mississippi State University President Mark E. Keenum welcomed Compass Datacenters to Meridian in January. The announcement, made at the annual meeting of the East Mississippi Business and Development Corporation, brings the second of two $10 billion investments to the state in less than a year. The hyperscale campus includes eight data centers to be completed in an eight-year timeframe which will support large, tech-intensive companies.
