Presidential Spotlight - Navy Day Hosts Admirals

^{Mississippi State hosted two U.S. Navy admirals on a gameday weekend in October for the university’s first Navy Day Expo. MSU President Mark E. Keenum welcomed Vice Adm. Robert Gaucher, left, and Rear Adm. Melvin Smith who introduced students to the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidacy program, or NUPOC, and greeting them at a military defense exhibition near Davis Wade Stadium. The two highly decorated officers were also recognized at halftime of MSU’s home game against Texas A&M.}
