200 Years of Grant
MSU President Mark E. Keenum welcomes attendees to the university’s celebration of the Ulysses S. Grant Bicentennial. The March celebration included several events noting the 200th anniversary of the former president’s birth, including an opening ceremony, tree dedication and a scholars symposium. MSU is home to the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library, one of six U.S. universities to house a presidential library.
